Mike Gray

Mike Gray is the CEO/Director of Pirii Australia Pty Ltd, an Australian Registered Training Organisation delivering vocational qualifications in the fields of Occupational Health and Safety, Leaderships and Management, Auditing and Project Management as well as delivering a wide range of PECB courses.

Mike is a highly qualified vocational education trainer and assessor and a certified PECB trainer. He is also a registered and certified lead auditor, with many years’ audit experience of small, medium and major corporations in disciplines including Quality, OHS and Environmental Management and includes Supply Chain Security, Information System Security, Road Traffic Management Safety and Risk Management among his key skills.

In addition to leading the training team for Pirii Australia Pty Ltd, which also trades as Compass Assurance Training, Mike manages the Western Australian operations of Compass Assurance Services, a Queensland based Accreditation Body.

Mike’s experience includes audits conducted on behalf of the smallest of organizations, in remote areas of Australia with the simplest of management systems, to major corporations, with highly complex management and compliance requirements. This varied experience has given him a unique insight into the needs of small business, operating in remote areas with restricted access to support structures and how the audit process can be turned from a confrontational experience to one of partnership, learning and ongoing encouragement toward continual improvement for the audited organization.
