RENÉ ST-GERMAIN

A Chief Audit and Certification Officer at PECB Europe, Mr. Rene St-Germain manages Training and Audit programs for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 26000, ISO 27001, ISO 27005, and ISO 28000. As an appointed expert for Luxemburg, he has also contributed to editing the ISO 27034-4.

Besides, Mr. St-Germain had been active as a lead auditor for NSF International, SGS, Bureau Veritas, Veridion, and Perry Johnson Registrars. In addition to his Auditing experience, Mr. St-Germain had been the assistant director of SNC Lavalin, a board member at ASIMM, president, and founder at Callio Technologies, training coordinator at BSI, as well as a lecturer at the University of Sherbrooke.

With more than 20 years of experience in Training, Project Management, and Risk Management compliance audits, Rene has directed projects in Europe, North America, and Africa. A recognized expert, he is very involved in the professional community and is regularly invited to speak to both business audiences and IT professionals. In 2004, he was named Personality of the Year by the ASIMM (Association de Sécurité de l’Information du Montréal Métropolitain) for his contribution to Québec’s information security sector.
