Silvana Tomic Rotim received her Ph.D. from the Faculty of Organization and Informatics at the University of Zagreb in 2011, completed her postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 2000, as well as the Study of management in the organization of FER, Faculty of Economics and the Institute of Economics in 1997. She graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 1995.
She has more than 20 years of rich experience in the development and delivery of consulting and educational services for the public and private sectors, in Croatia and abroad. For the last 15 years, she has been providing project management, risk management, information security, cybersecurity, and business continuity services. She has led more than 40 projects for implementation of the information security and business continuity systems. She has conducted a number of risk assessments and the assessment of compliance of business and information systems with the requirements of international standards (ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ISO 22301, ISO 27032, COBIT, etc.). She has delivered over 100 seminars in the field of information security, cybersecurity, business continuity management, risk management, etc.
Moreover, Silvana is an author of more than 40 professional and scientific papers and more internal scripts and books in these areas. She holds the following certificates: PMP – Project Management Professional, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor for Information Security, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer for Information Security, Certified Lead Cybersecurity Manager, ISO 22301 Business Continuity Lead Auditor, Certified Data Protection Officer, CISA – Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Lead Pen Test Professional, Certified Lead Forensics Examiner, ISO 24762 ICT Disaster Recovery Manager, ISO/IEC 20000:2005 Lead Implementer CMC – Certified Management Consultant and others.
